L1/Group - Acquisitions.

From 7th September 2019, Heathrow Buses Ltd. t/a /heathrowbuses by L1 will purchase Arriva Southern Counties Guildford Depot.

This includes the assets:

Bus garage - 1 Mary Road, Guildford GU1 4QU

A: Guildford-Royal Surrey Hospital (town service) (to be replaced)
B: Guildford-Park Barn (town service) (to be withdrawn)
C: Guildford-Stoughton (town service) (to be withdrawn)

The routes will transfer to the expanded Heathrow Buses O Licence.

Guildford will gain code GF.

Route changes from 7th September 2019:

Routes B, C and 3 will be withdrawn. Use alternative Safeguard and Stagecoach bus routes.

Route 391 (Beeline) will be extended from Woking via Route 35 to Guildford Friary.

Route A will be incorporated into Route 446, with Route 446 being extended to Royal Surrey Hospital.

Route 91 Evening and Sunday extension to Guildford via Route 28 will be replaced with an evening and Sunday service on Route 28. Links to Guildford will be retained by extended Route 391.

Routes 134 and 135 will be renumbered 34S, 35S to better reflect school route numbering elsewhere in the group.

Route X5 will be renumbered 705

From 14th December 2019, Routes 705 and 11 will be reformed:
Route 705 will be revised between Fareham and Gosport to run via Route 11.
Route 11 will be withdrawn between Fareham and Gosport, interworking with new Route 5, replacing Route 705 between Fareham and Gosport.
Route 5 will be the new number for the 705 between Fareham and Gosport via Stubbington and Lee.
