Other News:

Due to issues with delivery of new buses to cascade buses for the 152, 163 and 164, and bus lease deadlines, L1/Heathrow Buses are to loan ex-Metroline Scania N230UD/East Lancs Olympus buses from Ensignbus to cover. This allows the cascaded fleet and transferred fleet to be deep-cleaned, as well as relieve overcrowding on the bus routes. However, as this arrangement will not start until June 2017, the timetable for routes 163 and 164 will be significantly slowed in order to increase reliability on the routes due to the overcrowding.

Part of the site of L1/Group's DI (Brentford Dockside) Garage (Commerce Road site) will move to form a new garage near Chiswick Roundabout in June 2017. It will be split from DI and will gain the code CK (Chiswick).

From 24th June 2017, Route X26 will gain an every 30 minute night service.

Due to the new X26 night service:
From 4th November 2017, Route N111 will be extended to Sutton, Bushey Road
From 4th November 2017, Route N4 will be withdrawn between Streatham Station and Croydon, Park Street
Route N4 will be replaced by new Route N250 between Clapham Junction, Falcon Road & Croydon, Park Street

From 4th November 2017, Route 490 will gain an every 30 minute night service with an addition of 2 journeys.

From 11th November 2017, Route 22 will be de-converted from LT operation, as the route is changed in Barnes to terminate at Barnes Pond, which cannot accommodate the LT buses. Thus the LTs will move from Route 22 to Routes 87 and N87. New Volvo B5LH/Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 buses will replace the LTs on the 22, ordered against the 87/N87 contract.

Routes 190, 283, 311, 480, 483 are involved in a large change, resulting in tenders being re-negotiated:
Route 190 will be extended from West Brompton via 311 to Aldwych, and moved onto the 311 contract.
As a result, route 311 will be withdrawn. As LTs cannot fit via Richmond, they will be redistributed.
Route 480 will be rerouted away from Richmond to Kew Riverside via 311, then routed via the 483 between Stamford Brook and White City Estate, thus running between Ealing Broadway and Kew Riverside.
Route 283 will be diverted away from East Acton, instead running via 483 to Maida Hill.
Route 483, as a result, will be withdrawn.
This change will happen on 7th January 2018

Routes 13/N13 will be extended from Aldwych to London Bridge from 7th January 2018
Route N9 will be rerouted from Aldgate to Shoreditch Church via Liverpool Street from 7th January 2018

Route N22 will be extended from Fulwell to Kingston from 7th January 2018

Due to heavily reduced patronage on Route N97, the N97 will be withdrawn from 7th January 2018. Replacements include Routes N74, N117, 278N.

From 20th January 2018, the following changes will happen in Southall:
90: Withdrawn between Yeading White Hart and Southall North, extended instead to Northolt Station. PVR reduction.
95: Extended from Southall Station to Southall Bus Garage South. No PVR change.
204: Withdawn between Greenford Broadway and Southall North. PVR reduction of 2.
207: Withdrawn between Southall Town Hall and Southall North, extended instead to Southall Bus Garage South. No PVR change.

New Route 429 (24hr route) will run between Notting Hill Gate and Wembley Stadium, via parts of Route 23 and 18. This route will start on 20th January 2018

Route 392 will be rerouted away from Hanwell, diverted from Brentford Watermans Centre via Ealing Road, South Ealing to Ealing Broadway (Haven Green). Thus, the route will run Brixton-Ealing Broadway.
To cover the loss of night service on Boston Manor Road, Route N164 will be rerouted away from North Acton to Ealing Hospital via current 456.
This change will happen on 20th January 2018

Large changes in South-East London will also occur:
129: Extended from Greenwich to Lewisham

Route RV1 will get two new Van-Hool hydrogen buses from later this year.

IMPORTANT NEWS:
L1/Group has bought Rotala Group, and due to competition concerns, the garages in London will be sold off as follows:
Croydon (C) Garage will be sold to New Citybus, with routes 196, 202, 320 and 434 moving.
Willesden (AC) Garage will be sold to Tower Transit, with routes 28 and 302 moving.
Route 480, initially to be transferred from Arriva TGM to Hallmark in January 2018, will instead move to London United.
