Other News:
Route 335/N335 - double decker workings will stop on these routes when the new gas buses arrive, but Route 335D run by London OmniBus will continue. Route N335 will also be withdrawn between Harrow Bus Station and Watford Junction. There is no replacement between Harrow Weald and Bushey. This change will happen in January 2016.
Route N205 will be extended via Walthamstow to Loughton from Leyton. This will happen in January 2016
Route N69 will be withdrawn between Barnet Church and Potters Bar, being replaced by an N20 extension to Potters Bar. This change will occur on 6th November 2015.
Route 110 is subject to a consultation for the service to run Isleworth Fire Station-Hounslow-Twickenham-West Middlesex Hospital instead of West Mid-Twickenham.
Routes 33/N, 72/N, 209, 283, 369, 419, 485 will be affected by the closure of Hammersmith Bridge for a year to strengthen the bridge so the bridge can hold double deckers. Routes 33/N, 369 and 419 will be curtailed at Castlenau. Route 283 will only run between East Acton and Hammersmith Bus Station. Route 485 will be diverted from Barnes Red Lion to Barnes Wetland Centre. Routes 72/N and 209 will be diverted between Barnes Red Lion and Hammersmith via Putney Bridge.
Once the bridge is re-opened, Routes 33/N and 72/N will be converted to double deckers. Route 209 will convert to double deck subject to a consultation about its routing in Chiswick, planned to be diverted between Hammersmith and Turnham Green Station via Great West Road, Cedars Road, Hogarth Roundabout, Ellesmere Road, Sutton Court Road, Turnham Green and Chiswick Park Station to line of route at Acton Green.
Routes 283 and 369 will be evaluated for double decker working.
New route 426 is a route from Bromley North Station to Brockley Rise via Shortlands and Beckenham.
Route 482 is subject to a consultation for the service to be extended from Northolt to Harrow Bus Station. Route 120N, to be renumbered N120, under that same consultation, will be extended to Harrow Weald via the 140N.
Part of the site of L1/Group's DI (Brentford Dockside) Garage (Commerce Road site) will move to form a new outstation near Chiswick Roundabout within the next two years. This outstation may form a new bus garage, speculation is that it will be spilt from DI and will gain the code CK (Chiswick). Due to this, Route E2 will be extended, under consultation, to West Middlesex Hospital.
Route RV1 will get two new Van-Hool hydrogen buses from later this year.
